We must stop using what happened to millions of Jews under Hitler to support arguments for or against actions and policies (PN 2594–2595). How much what is happening now mirrors that time is a red herring with many using that history for their own ends.
There are the seeds of that behaviour in us all at all times. And these behaviours that allow powermongers to justify oppressing ‘others’ whoever they are, must be faced and exposed at every turn. This has to be our main focus that we cannot turn away from no matter what we are accused of.
