These are some pictures from the party on Saturday 4 June.
First three: The Catholic Worker building on the Harringay Ladder in North London (in Haringey!) / Compere Gail Chester of Peace News Trustees with the wonderful and radical Red & Green Choir / Anarchist poet and letterpress printer Dennis Gould (work seen in the June issue) (no good pics of the equally astounding fellow poet Jeff Cloves)
Second three: Poet and former co-editor Stephen Hancock / former co-editor, current Peace News board member and supremo at War Resisters International Howard Clark / activist and folk singer Jim Radford (who blew us all away with two songs).
Third row: Final act, Mark, who gave us specially amended and vibrantly rendered classic rock’n'roll (and much else) / the current co-editors Milan Rai (left) and Emily Johns (cutting the birthday cake) / PN web editor and main organiser of the party Emma Sangster with Tom and Rosa, who jointly won the Human Bingo contest.
An excellent time was had by all!
