An opportunity for a broad spectrum of people – activists, community organisers and other people working for and exploring radical social change – to come together and develop our intentions, priorities, knowledge, strategy, skills and networks in support of our different movements, be they anti-racist, environmental, global solidarity, anti-war, feminist, localisation, anti-cuts, counter-militarist, disability, LGBTQI, food sovereignty, radical health and other movements for transformation.

The WW1 centenary will be major theme at the 2014 Camp, with participation by European activists. The outline programme is available here.

Travel bursary for participants from mainland Europe

Peace News Summer Camp are offering £50 towards travel costs for 20 participant from mainland Europe. The bursary’s are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to apply for the bursary, send a message to admin@peacenews.info, with your name, country and when you will be arriving at the camp. Put ‘European travel bursary’ in the subject line of the message. You will be notified by email and receive the money when you arrive at the camp.
