On Saturday 5 February more than 250 peace activists and supporters crammed into Ramparts squatted social centre in east London to attend the party of the year ... the Peace News relaunch party!

The event was organised to celebrate the new-look PN and featured peace movement favourites Leon Rosselson, Raised Voices and Penny Rimbaud as well as poets Paradox and Will Holloway, acoustic act The Rub and bands Nayfumble and Walking Wounded - who really got the crowd rocking!

DJs ParadigmX and SexyRubberSoul brought the night to a close with DrumNBass, breakz and beats sets ... with a bit of “Lost in Music” thrown in for good measure!

Thanks to the generosity of our diverse range of guests, around £600 was raised for the Peace News kitty.

So, a big thanks to all of you who came and especially to the artists and volunteers who made the event such a resounding success and to the folks at Ramparts for all their support and for coping with our madcap DIY schemes to make the venue accessible to wheelchair users.
